The challenge
Workshop staff face real hazards around spray painting, equipment, and moving through a busy repair environment. Standard health and safety documents were easy to skim and hard to connect to the actual layout of the workshop.
Objective
Help workshop staff understand autospray health and safety risks, follow safe workflows, and make choices that help prevent accidents.
Approach
Learners move through an isometric map of the workshop, spotting hazards and following safe practices around spray painting, equipment, and getting around a busy floor.
Built in Storyline 360. Hotspots link each location to relevant hazard content. Variables track progress, and conditional logic handles feedback, gating, and knowledge checks tied to situations on the floor.
Result
Learners get safety training grounded in places and tasks they recognise, with checks and scenarios that stick better than a static handbook.
