Autospray Health and Safety
Health and safety training set in an automotive workshop. Learners move through the space, spot hazards, and follow safe practices around spray painting, equipment, and getting around a busy floor.
Objective
Help workshop staff understand autospray health and safety risks, follow safe workflows, and make choices that help prevent accidents.
How it was built
Built in Storyline 360. An isometric map of the workshop anchors the experience. Learners move through bays, storage areas, and the spray booth in order, with hotspots linking each location to relevant hazard content.
Variables track progress across areas. Conditional logic handles feedback, gating, and the next step based on what the learner has done. Knowledge checks tie the rules back to situations on the floor.
Background
Workshop staff face real hazards around spray painting, equipment, and moving through a busy repair environment. Standard health and safety documents were easy to skim and hard to connect to the actual layout of the workshop.
I mapped the workshop interactively and used it to route learners through each area in sequence. Hotspots tie locations to hazards, and progress tracking keeps feedback and navigation tied to learner actions.
Learners get safety training grounded in places and tasks they recognise, with checks and scenarios that stick better than a static handbook.
